Why, when I click to play an online game, my Windows Installer pops up?

It happens with other things too. I also when I click cancel on the popup for the Windows Installer, another pops up that says my MediaFace installer. What could be making this happen?

Windows Installer ensures that you have the correct Active X or third party software installed before you can play games. Some games require a flash or java or other active X control installation before you can play their games.

because your software that you are using must be outdated and need to boot new data
