If there is no cloud cover, it never gets absolutely dark anywhere.
However, at the North Pole, you would see the sun halfway down on the horizon on about March 21, and lose sight of it altogether a few days later. It then gets steadily darker over the weeks as the sun gets lower below the horizon. By about late May it is as dark as it's ever going to get - like midnight away from artificial lights for us. From August it slowly lightens through twilight, till the sun is half up on September 21 or 22. Then it won't go down, reaching a maximum of 23.5degrees above the horizon on December 21, before beginning to fall again.
At the South Pole of course, the dates are reversed - dark in June, sun at it's highest in December. But the half-up dates are the same.

The sun completely sets, if that's what you mean by dark. You still have stars (the atmosphere is thinner at the poles, so you see tons more) and the and the auroras, but you don't have city lights.

I don't think it technically gets completely dark anywhere, your eyes just have a hard time detecting the electromagnetic waves that are present when they're not the kind you're used to
