Round Bottom –
is right of course, being a politician he is, by definition a liar.
In the Foley case, certainly either he or Reynolds is lying about what and when Hastert knew.
The most likely thing to be truthful is that they are both lying.
‘Lying’, by itself, does not disqualify a politician from anything. The problem here is that they allowed children to be exploited and abused for the good of the Party. It is a pattern, I’m afraid, they apply to all people, everywhere. Their personal power and party loyalty come before America or it citizens.

Whether you like him or not, he is a smart man. Why would he risk his entire political career by covering up information that he knew would come out (no pun intended) eventually? It's Washington -- no secret is safe. The Speaker is NOT lying.
