Try pink (but not too strong) or grey.
You should use light and "transparent" colors. Brown eyes can handle much stronger colors then blue eyes.

I have naturally blue eyes. I have found shades of mauve-ish pink. Look for Covergirl's eyeshadow which has four different pink colors in it. I think it has a color called wine, or something like that. One color is really dark mauve, which I don't use. But there are three other colors I use, when I actually do where makeup. Good luck!

I've done the same thing, with both blue and green contacts over my cinnamon brown natural eyes.
Try a little bit of orange (yes, orange - m.a.c. makes a great one) towards the inner corners to make blue eyes really pop. The rest of your colors should stay in the brown/beige/chocolate ranges to make the most of your new blue eyes. OH! And use dark brown mascara instead of black ... for some reason black goes WAY too harsh with light eye colors, in my experience.
Have fun with your new looks!

I'm not sure, but Almay has a line just for blue eyes. Almay is a bit pricey, if you are worried about the price, check out what colors they say to use together and buy lower priced eye shadows to play with until you get the look you want. Then buy your normal brand!
Good luck!!

My eye color is blue and it always has been. I like to use silver eyeliner instead of eyeshadow. You have to but it high and thick or else it won't make your eyes stand out.

I have blue eyes, I use grays, mauves, and shades of brown. Stay away from blues and purples.

if you have fair hair, go for a soft look for the eyes.
brown or grey shades looks gorgeous with blue eyes and fair hair.
but if you have dark hair, darker shadings for the eyes will look fab!
it makes me glad i have dark hair with blue eyes!

Smokey grays, medium rose to icy pink. Go for charcoal, soft black, or navy liner.
