If you have a voltage regulator guage on the dash it should be 13.8 volts and showing a charge. If not your greenish cable terminals should be looked at again it sometimes returns and insulates you cables from getting electricity. That is corrosion that will not help charge your battery. Everything on your car runs off the battery=fuel pump/fuel injectors/radio cd/heater/etc. So what I do is turn off heater and music for an hour to get battery voltage again at a stop.

The battery wires them selves might need cleaning too. Or you have a battery wire coming loose somewhere. When it stalls does it turn over and start again when you turn the key?
You may also have a bad TPS...Throttle position sensor. That is if your saying everything is fine till you come to a stop and it sputters and stalls.

Your vehicle’s sensors are among the most important components of your Mitsubishi; a vehicle can’t possibly function properly without them. Basically, these are electronic devices that took the information needed by your Mitsubishi in its vehicle operation. The information obtained by these sensors is being passed along to a computer; such includes the amount of air going into the engine, emission levels, tire slippage and other vehicular functions that needs careful monitoring. Among these sensors are your Mitsubishi oxygen sensors.

this could be a uncomplicated situation with the two.4L motor. in case you ever spray any liquid (like carb sparkling) interior the throttle physique you will exceptionally much easily short the IAC motor. the actual sting lies interior the incontrovertible fact that that circuit will additionally (ninety% of the time) short a circuit interior the PCM as properly. The motor will run fantastic, it in simple terms wont idle. you are able to restoration this your self (not the desirable way, in spite of if it's going to artwork), in simple terms get a 10mm socket and wrench and unfasten the two 10mm bolts on the lower back of the intake manifold that carry rigidity on the throttle cable mutually as the motor is working. Slowly pull rigidity on the cable till you get your idle up around 1000RPM and then comfortable the two bolts bypass into opposite. you have a extreme idle and burn some extra gas, yet you shouldn't be out 1300 dollars.

you come to a stop and it cuts off it will not idle , right. first thing to check for is a vacuum line off or leaking, the discoloration on your battery post is no more than corrosion. you could of poured a coca cola on them and clean it right up. you definitely have a vacuum problem. you have a vacuum diagram on the inside of your hood or there across your radiator, crank the vehicle and just listen to the engine see if it hisses if so. then track down the vacuum line.
