Can we admit that we need private security companies to provide officers at local schools to protect our kids.

Question

They have people at all the major franchises located in high crime areas across america in Big cities .
We need to admit that security is as important as the 100 million dollar schools .lets invest in a 100,000 dollar metal detector .

Nice theory but the fact is that we can barely afford to keep the doors open never mind paying for security private or otherwise. It would be nice to have security guards but unless somebody flips the bill it ain't gonna happen.

We do need to take further steps in protecting our children. My son goes to a school where parents need a code to get into the building and then they walk past security. More schools like that would be great.

It says a lot when kids need protecting from a so called world leader in a democratic, humane society. And you call the Korean`s, Palastinian`s.Iraqi`s and Iranians savages. They don`t go around shooting kids.

Private security no, because they hire any knuckle head off the street , police officers yes ,because they are better trained to handle situations.
