I'm an Oiler's fan since there initiation into the NHL but, the older your get you'll find that even if your team isn't doing well, you'll just be looking at what teams are playing good hockey. Cause if your team is playing really bad hockey, and your hackling even the TV set cause of the bad play, you'll want to watch other hockey games that have teams just playing better hockey.
Thats my opinion anyways.................Go Oil Go!!!!

My Favorite team is the Woodhaven Leafs.. It's the team my son goaltends for..
from a professional standpoint.. I am from Michigan.. I am all about the Detroit teams, even the Lions.. I can't root for another team as it just seems wrong not to pull for the hometown team, even when they suck.. I live here, I am raising my family here, my roots are here.. The players may come and go, but I liked the Wings even before Steve Yzerman was even drafted..

Colorado Avalanche (not sure why, but they have been my favorite since I can remember)

Anaheim Ducks (not Mighty anymore, boo-who)
Carolina Hurricanes
AND I think that is about it. I know I could never pick a favorite. All I know is that I love hockey and everything about it, and that I cannot get enough of it!!

Phila. Flyers, NJ Devils, Carolina Hurricanes...
Look out for Boston this year....
Dallas has picked up Eric Lindros - Look out for Dallas - Eric has more heart than any player alive.
Columbas Blue Jackets have also made some serious moves and might surprise people.
Lastly..... I still like the Blues - even though they'de be better off playing little-league softball....
