Labour could win the next election for the following reasons.
1) When a unpopular Prime Minister stands down, the governing party gain on average 6% in the polls. This means that Labour could poll as much as 40% (compared with the Conservatives 33% and the Liberal Democrats 16%).
2) Based on such a bounce (and if the new Prime Minister takes advantage of it), an election campaign would see Labour fall by 1%, the Conservatives fall by 1%, the Lib Dems gain 2% and the Others remain unchanged. This would lead to a exit poll forecast of Labour 39%, Conservatives 32%, Liberal Democrats 18%. When you put those numbers into a calculator you get the following House of Commons forecast: Lab 380 (+36), Con 195 (-19), Lib Dem 46 (-17), Others 29 (Unchanged) giving Labour an overall majority of 110.

Unfortunately yes it can. The Labour government have plenty of time to pull things around in their favour. The next election is not due [I think] for another 3.5 to 4 years. An election can be called before then by the PM but he's unlikely to do that. First there's the issue of the leadership - once the dust has settled things might easily go back in their favour.

If you talk to people ion the street then they have no chance of winning. However that was the situation before the last election. The Tory party had the best Chance for many years to gain power but Dave is not the one to do it. People will vote Blairs lot back in even if he still lies about every thing. They are a disgusting, two faced sleaze ridden mob but it seems a majority that vote are happy to accept that. I will vote UKIP as I believe we need to get the British values back and get out of Europe. So yes they can but it will be another 5 years of bigger taxes, lies and integration into Europe and the Human Rights laws.

Labour will win the next election. It's not necessarily good for democracy but there is no other party, at the moment, that is fit to run the country.

yes, they can win,as when the parties go head to head in an election, the poll ratings will be close together.now the party in power will always have poor ratings, and tender to lose by election seats,as the people see that labour has a large majority
2 years is a longtime to go in politics, and anything can happen, before the next election

The party of Labour was born at the time of Kier Hardie and died with John Smith.
The spin doctors "New Labour" replaced them.

I hope not. They are generally diabolical - and generally incompetent and interfering.
I turn the TV and radio off now whenever they are speaking - actually I just did - I don't believe a word they say.
