Hi

Hamsters are cute arent they

OK... Well You could get him a 2nd cage if you use those plastic habitrail style cages and then connect the 2.

If he or she is happy without a mate I would not do that right now.. read up on what you want to get opposite sex or same
do it later

THe idea of the plastic rolling balls is great.... BUT be careful block off stairs and open doors because the little buggers will roll right down them in that ball and get really banged up and also the door tot he ball can come off and then they are loose..
it will stay shut in normal use consitions just not bumping down teh steps..

I dont recommned taking your hammy for a run in the garden... or outside loose at all... bad idea.

IF you have the money and you do not already have a habitrail cage.. maybe get one... with the tubes and make it a seperate play area he gets to spend time in daily... like going to the park

They love the tubes .. you can put a bit of sand in a bowl in there as well... Just be sure to wash the sand oncec in a while

Most importantly your Hamster will enjoy having time with you on its B day.... a loving owner is the best gift he could ever get!

Well HAPPY B DAY and good luck!

How about a Hamster Telly. Put some treats in it and he can sit inside and eat them while you pretend he is actually on telly. Ours like his, sits and washes himself in it as well. A see-saw might be an idea if you have room in the cage.

You could buy him an extention to his cage. Hamsters love loads of room to run around in and you can then put new things in the extra space.

When my mom had a hamster I got him one of those hamster cars and a track for him to run around in.

He also liked Hamsteroids and those treats that look like Cap'n Crunch cereal.

How about one of those hamster balls that you put him in. They have them in shapes, like race cars and stuff now too. Happy Birthday Hammy.

Get another cage for your hamster and connect the two. That way you can buy him more toys :)
