Statistically it is likely that there have been some simply as a percentage of the population, though in all cases they never openly have declared themselves to be so, so it would be still speculative at this point. Someone might come out someday or a widower (see next paragraph below) would reveal the truth down the line.
Since you make the "brokeback" reference, that could suggest that they might have a "heterosexual" marriage -- with wife and kids and the whole shmear -- on the surface and a secret "gay" relationship that the public never learned about.
Would George Takei count? He's not an astronaut, but he played one on TV.

So far Sally Ride is the only openly gay astronaut in history. It is likely that there are more, but they might not want to be known for their sexuality, and maybe just want to be known for the contrabutions and sacrifices they make to NASA.

I don't really know, but I suspect not. NASA is too uptight to select a gay astronaut and their screening is too thorough to miss the fact than a candidate is gay I think.
