For instant on the spot attraction, of course the body rules! What you see is what you want. However if you work with or spend a lot of time with somebody that changes, and that is when the playing field is balanced back towards personality.
So don't expect to get your man in a hurry, but there is always hope for the less attractive girl with the great personality.

Sounds like you just got burned by a guy. There are a lot of pigs out there but then again there are a lot of great guys out there too. Of course men will always be attracted to attractive women, Just like women want attractive men. Of course people should put personality first, but looks are a bonus. For all the people on this page claiming that looks aren't important or looks are for shallow people, you're denying your instincts (I'm not saying personality isn't important) Scientists even know that both women and men naturally are compelled to the more attractive person because they look healthy and its in our genes to mate with the healthiest person we can find so we can produce healthy offspring to sustain human life. It's science that people are gonna be more attracted toward someone good looking.

In this type of society it is always seen as if you have a hot body then guys will
want you . That is not always true!! A girl with a long sweater not revealing a
thing can have just as much success as , a girl with her Thong all hanging out.
Be strong girl there ARE guys out there who aren't into all that hype , but
usually the louder they are the least they have to show you . Demure always
work best . If you stop your search the right kind of guy will pay you some mind.Oh yeah use your personality , it always holds up better than your body
( especially when gravity kicks in !!)

No all guys aren't attracted to a girl's body type. My boyfriend wasn't attracted to my body type at all. He was actually attracted to my personality and style. Some you can trust and some you can't. But the answer to your question is no and yes.

I think it depends on what kind of attraction you are looking for. MOST me are mainly attracted to a girls body, but personality is usually very important. Like women, you can be physically attracted to someone, but as soon as the open their mouth (and you realize there isn't much activity upstairs) you can totally be turned off. With all of the men I have ever known, looks are very important, but personality is the most important (epically for a relationship).

Male and females BOTH notice the body first. I mean if you see a 400 pound man do you really want to date him by just looking at him? No, you have to get to know him first. But the personality will hold you.
But yes most guys are attracted to personality AFTER looks. Unless the guy is really superficial and only wants a hot chick, then he just sucks!

Even if all are attracted to the body shape, which is something normal or an instinct, still personalities are a major role for boys to get more interested in girls. Both are too important...

No. Not all but yeas 99.9 % guys attract on body type. Do you know the reason? because girls personality does not remain same all the time. It changes on every moment, but the body remains atleast for 20/30 years.

As far as they don't meet that girl in person; that comes more frequent with chatrooms, telemarketing, phone help desks... All that hides physical appearance.
Sorry, we humans are still animals and are always influentiated by the instinct of improving the species on a mere biological basis.
I'm a man, and I've suffered the same from girls.

Its nature,the female of the human species attracts males by making themselves visually attractive,personality comes secondary.
