whats going on in baghdad?

I have a friend who is a defense contractor over there and he usually emails me a couple of times a day. I haven't heard from him in 2 or 3 days. Some people are saying they are having power outages over there. I'm worried,

In third world nations you can expect power outages. Even if they do have power their internet is not like ours here and it can take several days to make a connection. Plus contractors keep busy. I would not worry. He will eventually respond.

I hope all is well. If my job sent me there, I would get a new job.
