Which is the best way to ship household stuff from India to the US?

I am trying to find the cheapest way to ship my stuff to the US from India. Does anyone have cost info or resources that can give me the info?

most people with a lot to move overseas use a shipping container (or half-container). Here in the states, they can be dropped off by truck, and picked up a few days later, once you're done.

I have no idea of costs, but I can't imagine anything else being cheaper for any quantity of stuff to be moved.
