Could it be Vanessa Okuma? I can not find a picture of her but her name sounds ethnic so I figured it might be.

Or is it L. Scott Caldwell? Again no picture but they said she was on both do I am guessing it is her...

are you talking about aisha tyler? she played melinda's best friend on ghost whisperer. if you are, then no. that's not the same person who was on cold case. i watch both shows, and i would have noticed that. i hope that helps.
