Everyone will remember the name Mark Foley and what he did but Congressman Mel Reynolds(d) gets barely any mention. Why would the media saturate itself in a republican doing something disgraceful but not a dem who did something more disgraceful.

I think that Foley should be out of office - he is by the way. I don't think he should have any standing in the Rep. Party or among conservatives - he doesn't. McReynolds stayed in office until he was actually convicted.

You can find sex predators on both sides. The question is about media coverage.

Yup! Folks are having sex all over the hill....and the rest of the country. Yup. We've heard and heard about it. Makes you wonder if we like what we hear? You bet we do. And guess what? These folk represent what we as Americans are doing everywhere. Oh, I'm not saying Foley shouldn't be run out of town on a pole. I'm saying when we as a people stop condoning this behavior in our homes, neighborhoods and towns and city's we will see an end of it in Washington, D.C.
