I have tried people my age their out clubbing and I just don't do that.I have someone all ready what do I need to go there for. The ones that have just got married don't want to go out. Being with your children aren't a bore it is very fun and I love it. It would just be nice to get away and talk to other adults so no children need reply

Try being a loudmouth. I am and I make friends everywhere I go. Walmart, gocery store, bank. I'm always talking to anyone who will listen and people like that. They laugh with me and they say I have a hillbilly accent.

Let me start off bye saying that it must have been true love if you married at age 18. That's something i would never do. But never the less try taking your kids to the park or day care and start up a conversation with another parent. Best of luck to ya.

I know exactly how you feel. I too have no friends. The ones I used to have just go to clubs, bars and get drunk. I haven't had an outing with a friend since I got married. i have been to baby showers and bridal showers but that just isn't the same. maybe one day we will meet and we can go shopping together. you can reach me thru yahoo messenger.

You can join a church and meet other women thataway
you can meet people on myspace
make jello and have a neighborhood party
attend more social events
go to back to school night and meet other moms there
or you could just start up your own site (like eharmony.com) for women in desperate need of some female companionship. you can try and match people up with their compatible best friend! wow, its ingenious! if you dont try it, i will!

you have to cultivate friendships. are you ready to spend some time on understanding new friends?
you can try contacting some of your closer classmates? did they drop out of your life because you were busy with married life?
how about your neighhours? or kids' classmates' parents? perhaps you can trying making small talk first.
be patient.

you must find somebody you have similar activities, with who you will like to talk and to laugh, but your best friend must be your husband.
