yeah, i thought i found my bf's website and sent messages. i got responses saying "This is actually not his. we made this as a joke."
his friends were using his name, pics, and profile pretending to be like my bf. that really sucked.... they also used the special pic that he sent me for v-day. i didn't want them to use it as a joke. i thihnk it's pretty bad if users dont know how to handle it.

I think the creators really need to go learn to program!
There's no excuse for the number of errors routinely encountered on that site!
And I don't mean bad code by users. I mean needing to try 3-5 times just to read a frelling message in my in-box.
Which is why I never really log on anymore. I just can't stand bad programming!

Yep. It's a fad that so many kids are into. I think it's a breeding ground for pedafilies and lots of other weirdos. Who ever thought it would be ok for a 12 year old to have a place where they can write their full name, pictures of themselves, their school, their schedule, etc. It's nuts. It should be outlawed to under 18.

Myspace is not bad. It is stupid girls and boys who give contact information to people they have never met before who is at fault.

I think it is bad because you always hear about people stalking people because they got that person info. on Myspace...It is wrong because people put that up for their friends to veiw and than you got weirdos looking at it and hunting you down to kill you rape you or anything else! but thats my opinion

No, not if you are aware it can be misused and are careful to not put out any information you would not give either a stranger at a bus stop or a perspective employer.

if it's not abused it's not 'very bad' - it's the communication wave of the future don't see it dying either ... kids love it and now all the media attention has hollywood and musicians getting in the act...

its all in how you use it...the abusers are the ones that give it a bad name. i have met a lot of great people on there but i am also very cautious as well.
