No not at all.
I would do my own research and it all depends on what it is
for example..Mark Foley but either way I am liberal

Yes the media does have some impact on your political views, but if you are in question then you should do your own research to find out if it is fact or not.

Depends upon which media. First I have to be convinced that they are telling the truth, and that is a stretch for most of our mainstream media, as driven as they are by their corporate sponsors who are tied in with their policical "sponsors". I find the most credible media sources, (plural) , and then decide based on comparison. If more than two trusted sources are saying the same thing, I conclude that it must be 90 percent true.

MOST political views are based on family upbringing (just like religion) People are too stupid and lazy to have a mind of thier own.
