Yes, there is a method that is 100% in your favour.
Example: In Canada a Lotto 6/49 ticket costs $2.00 Cdn., you pick any 6 numbers out of 49 numbers, the draw date is about 6:49 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year. If you match all 6 numbers from a mechanical ball machine the jackpot is yours.
*** In order to win you must purchase all possible combinations or outcomes. ***
= (49!)/(6!(49-6)!)
= (49!)/(6!(43!))
= (49*48*47*46*45*44)/(6*5*4*3*2)
= (1.0068 10)/(720)
= 13983816 combinations/outcomes
$2.00 * 13983816 = $27,967,632 Cdn.
All in all, in baseball terms "You've got all the bases covered!!!".
!!! WARNING !!!
This method is worthwhile if the jackpot is worth more than what you spent and if no other winning ticket holders split the jackpot to the point your losing money. !!! WARNING!!!
P.S. If you attempt this method and did profit, please never forget about the humble person who gave this suggestion, and a 1/3 of the profit is greatly appreciated.........

You will but when you go to collect your winnings you will be struck by lightning and killed. So don't play the lottery and live longer.

Somebody's going to win - but probably not you.
The lottery is a tax on those that don't understand probability.

It doesn't matter. So many lottery winners end up losing all the money and wrecking their lives anyway.

Based on Albert's theory of relativity, anything you win which is more than you have will be large. Odds are better the less you have.

You probably have a better chance if you walk behind an armored truck and wait for money to fall out.
