i wouldn't mind a white lie if, say i'm sick as a dog and he says I look beautiful eventhough I know I look as sick as I feel. Because that's just being nice.
If he says something like- I ask him "am I fat" and he says "no". Then I would NOT like that. I'm attractive but I could lose the extra 10 pounds I gained after joining the military, and it bothers me. He knows it. But he doesn't lie to me and make me think it's ok. He tells me that yes, I have extra "chub" on my belly and says to go to the gym. Not in a mean way. Or he'll just grab it and tickle me. It's all in fun and he's really nice about it. Wouldn't you want an honest answer? Or would you rather have him make you think things are ok? I prefer truth and motivation. Most women would prefer not to hear they should lose a few pounds... so maybe I'm just different

it truly is stupid, crude, family humor and that i could in basic terms grin and bear it. i'm optimistic he did no longer recommend something impolite by potential of it, he develop into in basic terms in all risk surely surprised. LOL you will desire to bear in mind that it is his nephew who he's customary longer then you certainly, it is his character and it wont substitute. So do no longer make a huge deal out of it and in basic terms chortle it off.

One of the reasons why I'm marrying my fiance Nate is because he's always honest with me. He's not brutal, but he never lies to me. Instead of telling me, "You're wearing that!?" he says, "Shouldn't you wear something more formal?" He's usually right... and sometimes I don't like to hear it, but I'd rather him be honest than look ridiculous!!!

Yes, I would appreciate his effort to make me feel good.
But I would be subtle and call him out.
I would say "Thank you for saying so" when he told me I was the most beautiful woman in the world.
