You all are correct. I am so very sorry. It was a super faux pas to leave Magic off the list.

4) Wilt Chamberlain

On your list, the greatest Laker ever was Kareem, and for the ppl who said Chamberlin,he was NEVER a dominating factor as a Laker, his time had passed. He scored the 100 in 62 When he was with The Warriors and he still wasnt the best big man in the game then,he could"nt hold Bill Russells jock,I guess that why The Celtics dominated the league back in the late 50"s and 60"s..

Magic Johnson first. Then your choices: Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem (more titles), Shaq, Baylor, Kobe - what's he done without shaq???

Wilt most dominate player in nba history during his time. He also was an amazing athlete and much more mobile then shaq. Also he could single handly win games unlike West. Baylor. Kareem and Erving were 2gether makeing it easyer for both and same deal with shaq and kobe.

I would have to say Earvin "Magic" Johnson. He was the greatest Laker playing all positions at any given time. Averaging almost a Triple Double in one season.

Even though I detest basketball, I feel compelled to answer this:
HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU SAY EITHER KOBE OR SHAQ COULD POSSIBLY BE THE BEST LAKER EVER!!?? THEY BOTH SUCK!!
Either Jerry West -- Mr. Laker himself, or Magic Johnson (whom you callously left off the list) are the greatest Lakers.
Chamberlain scored his 100 against a team that had ZERO defence and no one with enough size to challenge him.

I'm going to say Magic Johnson. What he did in 1980 (filling it at Center) still blows my mind.
If I have to pick someone from your list - I'm going to say Jerry West. This counts for his playing days and his days as GM.
