I just went through something similar. I was suspicious of my boyfriend and this new girl he was talking with who was "just a friend". He swore up and down that nothing was going on between them. I asked him to stop talking to her and he said that he couldn't do it. That really hurt. Then I started catching him in little lies, like if he talked to her that day and for how long. I couldn't take it anymore... my imagination was going wild. I told him to stop talking to her or move out. He moved out. I really thought that he wouldn't leave. It's been a month and a half since he moved out and we broke up. He started a relationship with the other girl a few weeks ago. Once, when he came by to get some of his stuff, I asked him if anything happened between them when we were together. He said no, and I could tell he wasn't lying because my mind was more clear and open this time. But, I'm glad that I let him go because it would have been just a matter of time that he would've dumped me to pursue the other girl.

Breaking up with someone you love is really heart breaking, that is why you asked for help and I wish I can do. I think cheating can happen for four main reasons:
1. He is looking for something not in you or you cannot afford it and it would be quite wise of you to leave him because he is not yours;
2. You havenot given him enough love and once you do that he wont have time to go and cheat on you;
3. You are giving him hard time all the time and he is running from your hell to the paradise of someone else. And you must wake up because life cannot go without cooperation, sacrifice and forgiveness; and
4. He is a low person and you should leave him now.

Why do you even waste your points for a question like this. If you think he is cheating ( which is what I assume you meant to type) then you dump him or whatever. It's not that big of a deal. What kind of a moron doesn't know what to do. If he is and you stay with him you may end up with a disease. Be smart.

Since you asked in Arts in Humanities I suggest you go read some tragic love story or contemplate the meaning of love.

Otherwise maybe you should reclassify the question.

Don,t do anything at first!

Unless you found out about it from some one. If you have people telling you about him doing to another, what he used to do to you, get another boyfriend!

If not, ask him. There's no point in having a boy/girlfriend if they want to be with someone else!

If you can't trust him, use birth control until you dump him or find a good reason to trust him.

If you really think he is having sex with someone else, go back to using condoms as you could get an STD.

Ask him if he is. If you are not satisfied with the answer then investigate. If it is true show him the evidence then dump him. If it proves false then say nothing to him and move on.

don't stress about it, usually if giving enough rope, they'll hang themselves. In meantime, have fun, dont waste energy on worrying. Kinda look for next guy in line if this one turns out to be a dud.

Two options:

Option A: Confront him.
Option B: Try to catch him in his lie.

Either way, be prepared to bail on him girl! You don't need him!

There are tests that you can administer.. (not written tests) but develop your own and if he fails most of them.... turn the table on him and start dating some or one of his friends
