not just for the time the lie is being said, i mean for a good couple of years, possibly costing someone else their life?!

That's why I don't lie, I won't even tell half truths. It's either I tell the whole truth or I just don't say anything at all.

I think it depends on what the lie is. The truth is sometimes more detramental than a lie. So I believe that discretion is the key.

Yah. Baby's father is STILL liing and he's causing several people financial difficulty and stress. He won't admit he is financially responsible, and yet he won't leave us alone, so he has caused me to have to 'lie' so he will look elsewhere or give up. This is so it won't cost us our lives.

People who lie don't care if it effects someone else. They are selfish and only care about how it will affect them.
