As for me, I have cancelled all of my subscriptions to news papers, mags, cable tv, and I've ceased to send endowments to any affiliations that support media outlets, or that are supported by media outlets.

I will give up nothing. I want the media to criticize America. We are not perfect our leaders are not anywhere near perfect. Do you want us living in a country like China? There you can get shot or jailed for life by criticizing the government. Talk about shooting off your nose to spite your face.

Your close-mindedness is only overshadowed by your stupidity. Judging from the other questions you have posted, you are truly a scary individual. America was formed on dissent, against a repressive government. If you don't believe or subscribe to this, you are the one who is anti-American. Why don't you move to Afganistan? You would fit right in with the Taliban.
