Until I can get my hot water heater replaced, I have been enjoying my morning bath in my inground hot tub. Will the bath gel and shampoo cause any damage to the hot tub?

It probably will "not" hurt the working of the hot tub in anyway. The pump motor will not be effected in any way, neither will the pump. It just pumps the water. You may have to change the water soon. It could be pretty nasty!!!

Yes it will cause damage to the motor. Because the gel and shampoo cause air bubbles and when the air bubbles go through the jets it is going through as air and not water which damages the motor!

It wont hurt the pump/motor in any way, but it will be a pain in the A** to clean after awhile...
