No, it'll never happen. For one, I'm not happy with the democratic campaign this election. "At least I'm not friends with Bush" is not a valid platform to me, as much as I detest the man. I don't think they'll actually win. Republican support is at an all time low, and it would be a great time for the Dems to step in and take up the slack, but I don't see them doing it. Bush won't be impeached for fraud in the Iraq war, because he's already laid the blame, and therefore the liability, on the CIA for faulty intelligence. It'll be tough for congress to prove what was said to him in confidential security briefings that might have "informed" his decision. From all accounts he's a man who only hears what he wants to. Unfortunately, stupidity isn't criminal. If somehow, those two things were to occur, he wouldn't committ suicide, he'd appeal to the Supreme Court that he rigged last year, and likely win.

I would desire to agree that impeachment could in all risk be pointless.
