when it's noon in London (BST), it's 4 pm in Delhi (IST)
BST is 1 hour later than Universal Coordinated Time
(the astronomical time on the Greenwich Meridian) and
IST is 5 hours later than UCT, the reference time, so
IST is 4 hours later than BST.
