I came into this world without being given any choices...or even that ultimate choice of whether to be.

Since day-one, I've been fed all kinds of reasons to be, all of them I find suspect.

Everyday, I am starting to believe that it's all a coincidence that I'm here, and you're here asking this question.

It would be easier, wouldn't it, if we knew that there was some kind of purpose. That's where they get a lot of gullible to bend to their will, by the way...people offer a 'reason why we're here', and because it finally defines somebody's existence, they just go ahead and follow--whether or not it makes any damned sense to.

By concidence, eons of cause and effect, I am here. I came to be. And I'll be here until this body expires and my consciousness may or may not move on into another form or entity...as I may or may not have since the beginning of time--if there ever was a beginning.

My purpose is to define to myself and for myself this existence. The other things I do from day to day is my way of conforming with societal structures that have been built by people through their arrogance and ignorance and their frustration in defining a purpose as to why they are here.

I used to believe that the whole world was an enigma, a harmless enigma that was made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth. But I've since turned my life around. I used to be depressed and miserable. Now I'm miserable and depressed.

Truth be known, the purpose of life is to love one another.

Your question pre-supposes the existance of a 'purpose' to life. If there is a 'purpose', that implies that there is an objective being who decided what the purpose was ahead of time. Without that objective being, no purpose. Just life.

I agree...extremely depressing isn't it. Edit: in simple terms attempt to be happy you're alive. each and every physique everybody is quite fortunate to be alive. the probabilities of you being alive are quite slender. It means, in the adventure that your mum and dad hadn't got here approximately to fulfill, you does not be here. a similar is going on your grandparents, your great grandparents.... save happening the line and it might hit upon trillions upon trillions of circumstances that have been a danger to us not being here. yet all of those circumstances happened from the time we've been mere fish swimming interior the sea. it is doubtless certainly one of the only existence we will get. human beings don't have it exceptionally much as good as us. each and every physique human beings ought to take up each and every of the happiness existence has to deliver and manage one yet another peacefully, with love and appreciate by way of fact we are all on a similar boat and existence is emotional.
