I would take either one because both can be a lesson in fun and games. The girl who doesn't know anything may be very interested to learn the game. The problem for most women who don't like the sport, is that the men in their lives "assume" they understand the game from the start. If you explain the basics of the game to most girls/women so that they have a decent understanding about the basics, they generally tend to get more interested as more intricate things happen. I've used the PS2 to demonstrate and explain the game to women and they have enjoyed it.
Women who already have a love for the game...pretty much speak for themselves. You have your own little "competitions" at home betting on the games, etc. Football makes the world go round when taught accurately!

I'd kill to have a girlfriend like B. If you have a girl who knows about the game, that gives you a bunch to talk about. Plus, if a girl is only willing to watch games with you, she's not really enjoying it. if a girl wants to watch a game with you then youre both enjoying it.

A.
I don't want a girl to be too into the things I'm in. I would like to be able to go the the game with just the guys sometimes. When girls are too into football, they then become one of the football buddies. Sometimes you need to go get drunk, watch football, and not think about your relationship. Perhaps I've over analyzed the question.

Easy, B. You want to watch a game on t.v. or live with someone who understands and can hoot and holler with you. Or you can have your fun being on opposite sides of the ball. If the girl knows nothing of the game and just sits there, well, I already have a dog who watches games.

I would rather have a chick that already knows about football because I dont want to have to answer a million questions while i'm trying to watch the game

You might want to catch a game by yourself maybe ask another guy friend about the basics so your not asking a question on every play but I think the guy would be impressed that you don't watch football but you want to be with him so you will try to learn to like it. (Now I am only talking about a football game not something you feel uncomfortable doing to please someone)

I am just teaching my wife about football, and the more questions she asks, the better I feel. I love her interest in the things I like, so I would have to choose A.

Well i like football and I'm not a maniac over it though, so I would pick the 1st one cause it'll be interesting teaching my girl about football, it'll something we could do together. Even if she doesn't like it, its OK, if she does, that's fine too.

B. As long as she knows how the game is played. She does not need to know every pointless piece of information that I do.
