I have a Monitor 41 heating system. It turns on, runs through a whole heating setting, then stops. Why?

It heats up and blows hot air and cools down, then stops running. the power is still on and everything but it doesn't catch up to the temp i set for it. I set temp for 74 and room temp will be like 68 and it still won't turn on unless i shut it off and turn it on again. can anyone help me with that?? i would really appreciate it!!!!

Your high temperature safty shut off switch maybe bad. when you shut it of and on again may cause the safty to reset itself.
YOu can chec this by unhooking the 2 wires which go to the switch and hooking the temperarily together. Then see if the unit stays on. If it does the safty is bad and should be replasced
