if sending cash the post office can convert it for you when making out a money order but you will need to send Canadian money

Let me get this straight, You are from candada and the seller is in the states. If that is the case then find out what the conversion of canadian funds is compared to US dollars. A money order should be cashed at any bank in the states for american dollars. Just make sure you conversion is right. Make sure that the money order is for the right amount of american dollars. That may mean that the canadian value of the money order is more or less than the sell price. A good thing to do here is contact the seller and inform him of what you intend to do. He may be willing to convert the amount owed over into canadian dollars for you. Hope this helped and if you don't have a paypal acount get one. Paypal is probably the most usefull ebay program and also will make transactions a whole lot safer and you should recieve what you bought a whole lot faster.

no, you ask for the money to be sent in American funds. All banks and money order companies do this on a regular basis.
