exhaust, but the muffler shop says he was only able to put a 3" tail pipe on the right side and had to go with a 2.5" tail pipe on the left side, will this impeed my performance?

The Muffler shop sheisted you. They probably had only 1 3" pipe and didnt feel like cutting or ordering another one. They probably charged you the same too. You should make them take the 2.5 in off and put on a 3 in. Tell them thats crap that they dont match.

It will NOT affect the performance whatsoever but I would make them put it back on based on the stupidity of not making them match.

It depends on how the rest of the exhaust was run. If he did straight duals and one side is smaller than the other those 4 pistons will heat up faster than the others and have to work harder to keep up. It is a good way to crack a rod, but if it is just the tip i wouldn't worry about it too much.

There probably won't be any difference in performance. That is pretty cheesey of the muffler shop to do that though.

You won't notice any difference. The exhaust shop did pretty bad work doing that I think.

It may or may not do anything. I seriously doubt it will though, since it's just Y-d together to go through the cat and split off after that anyway. It will look funny to anyone looking under it though.

I seriously doubt you'll notice a difference of a half an inch!!

besides you'll be the only one who knows.
