It depends what substance contianed the buret before filling it with NaOH.

If there was more concentrated base your calculated molarity will be higher because you are adding more alkali to the solution to be titrated. The opposite is true.

If there was water or acid your calculated molarity would be lower.

It is important to rinse the buret in order to get an uniform concentration through the lenght of the glass tube that forms the buret.
