I've been taking clomid for three months now. Will be starting my 4th month tomorrow. My first 2months on this were 50mg's. My doctor increased it to 100 mg's last month due to low progesterone. Same thing happended this month my progesterone was LOWER than before. So, this month he increased it to 150 mgs. Has anyone experienced this, what will happen next if I have low progesterone. I know it means that the clomid isn't working.

I take Clomid. I am starting my 4th round today. Looks like we're on the same schedule. Anyway, my OBGYN has me on this routine; Clomid on days 3-7, Estrace (estrogen) on days 8-12, HCG injections on days 12 & 19 and Prometrium (progesterone) from day 16 until the end of my cycle or until the end of my first trimester if/when I conceive. I am still only on 50 mg. of Clomid because I have been ovulating. When I conceived my daughter 2 years ago, I started on the same routine, except for the hcg injections. After 5 months, I began the hcg injections as well. It was 3 months later that I conceived. The only other exception was that although I started out at 50mg. of Clomid, I was up to 200mg. when I conceived. You might want to discuss the option of including hcg injections and progesterone to your doctor in the future. Hopefully we'll both be getting positive test results this time next month. If clomid is not doing the trick they may want to go to something else, maybe injectibles???

clomid make follical and if u get pregnant and progetrone is low then it leads to M/C but if u take progestrone tab then it will help
