By the way, sometimes I goof off when they are here. I make up tasks that "need" to get done and say I spent 4 hours on them. HA. Or, I'll say a 20 minute task is a 2 hour job. HA. They're clueless. I've been here 8 years so, no, they haven't caught on yet. HA HA HA

King Solomon instructed, "Hard work means prosperity; only fools idle away their time" (Proverbs 12:11, NLT).
On any job, when the pressure is off, we may be tempted to take a break and just ease off.
However, when customers are scarce or work pressure is reduced, we need to use that slack time wisely.
Clean up that back room, eliminate that paper pile on your desk, or tackle that project you have put off for months.
As you stay focused when the pressure seems off, long-term pressure will be reduced.

Goof off man. There will be plenty of time for work when the bosses come back.
Right now i'm at work messing around on this website and playing my sony psp.
It's good to kick back every once in a while :)

If you have tasks to complete, you should do them. If you don't have enough tasks to last until the end of the day, then pace yourself. Do some of them, then "play" for awhile, and do some more. That's what I do at work.

if you have work to do, get it done, then come back. if not, goof, but not all day. show your bosses you can do your job without them around.

you should work as if your boss has been there all day. it is just the right thing to do. i didn't say take extra breaks but always do your work. people are depending on you.
