both not the best situation to be in! but if god gave the choice which would u choose to be and why?
i'd be deaf by the way! cos i dont trust dogs to tell me if a cars coming!

that would really be a tough choice to make. If you were blind you would miss seeing your children and seeing your grandchildren, Being deaf you would miss the sound of your family saying I love you and miss your grand babies saying granny for the first time. I would leave it up to God to make the choice for me as he knows what I could handle and could not.

Man I've been mentally blind and emotionally deaf all my life. so I guess I don't have an option. But seriously, I'd rather be blind cause I absolutely love music, if I was deaf I'd probably grow crazy. If i was blind I could ask for descriptions and paint a picture with my mind's eyes. So I could still see and listen.

Man, that's tough question to ask a music lover! But if I had to pick, I would choose to be deaf without a doubt. The experts say that 80% of our daily stimulus comes in through our eyes. It's by far the most complex sense structure of our bodies and to lose it it is most likely permanent until modern science finds a way to cure all forms of blindness (not likely anytime soon).

I'd be deaf because I don't always like hearing what some people have to say and if I was blind I could never see art again.

I would choose deafness over blindness. I have had eye surgery in the past and just the short time of bandages was enough blindness for me.
There is just so much to see in this world, that we sometimes take our vision for granted.

Very hard question. I wouldn't want to be blind, because then I could not see how beautiful my daughter is. If I were deaf, I could not hear the sound of her voice and her laughter. It would be a very difficult choice, but I guess deaf.....the plus to that would be that I wouldn't have to hear anyone yell....and if they tried to sign nasty comments to me, I could just close my eyes. Just trying to make light of a devastating situation! :-)

I play the piano and violin - but i would still choose to be deaf, as I would not want to miss the faces of those I love

I would prefer Deaf coz I think you can manage thing in better way rather blind

I suppose deaf cause you need to see things, I wouldnt be here answering by typing this if I was blind...but music is amazing!

i am half deaf and i tend to notice the beauty in the world more so i will say deaf. also i can not imaging waking up next to my partner and never seeing here. or never seeing my daughter grow up.
