it will help to level it but it wont make it perfect
in order to make it level you may have to use a floor leveler and all it is is a liquid you put on the floor it fills in the low spots on the floor.
you can get this at any home centers, just read the instructions for installation and it should work fine

It comes in a bag that is mixed and spread, thus creating a uniform surface on which to apply your wood or laminate flooring. This is what professional wood floor companies do, even in new construction, to ensure a level floor.

nope sorry your gonna need to get floor leveling mix its already made for the people that don't know how to mix. use on high spots level and lay new board you can use luann board its cheaper with the same outcome. you can just use plywood and no leveling mix you'll be able to tell the difference but if its not that bad go for it

It can if you find the high point and shim under the rest of the plywood so it comes out level.

Nope, you need to use Floor Leveler, its kinda like concrete, you mix it and spread it on then push it level before it dries, then use the plywood underlayment.
