My husband went to see "The Departed" with Matt Damon & Jack Nicolson & Leonardo DiCaprio yesterday, but had to leave just before the movie got over to pick up our kids from school. We left just after the elevator scene and as the funerals were starting. What did we miss?

Madolyn cries at Costigan's funeral. Standing across the casket from her is Sullivan, who can't catch her eye.
As she walks away from the grave, he asks in a very small voice "What about the baby?" and she completely ignores him.
Sullivan comes home from the grocery store carrying a brown bag, and opens the door to see Dignum, wearing gloves and booties on his shoes. He knows full well what is coming, and says something like "Oh, okay..." Dignum hesitates a moment as he raises his gun with a silencer on it, then shoots Sullivan in the head and walks out.
And then the camera pans from Sullivan's body, the bag of groceries and croissants spilled out across the floor, to the balcony with the view of the state house...and a rat crawls along the railing.

You missed matt damon getting shot and killed by marky mark, minus his funky bunch. That was it. Matt Damon let himself into his apartment, Mark Whalberg shot him and end of movie.
