If you are trading on NSE, In derivative trading you need to refer to the SPAN Risk parameters file, which gives you the details for the margin computation for each stock. For this you need to download and load a software called PC Span which available on the same page on the website.
www.nseindia.com go to NSCCL>Notifications and under Derivative Segment click on SPAN risk parameter files.
