Since day one, he filled my friends and my head with lies and false experience. He was able tro evoke tears over nothing that ever even occured. We caught him in the act. He confessed. I am lost. What would you do? This is too extreme for even I to resolve.

If all he's ever told you are lies about himself, then he is not a friend, because in reality, you DON'T know him, or who he is.

Wow. I know a girl who did the same thing when caught she said she did it because she didn't feel her life was exciting enough so she made up lies. I don't personally understand it but you should let your friend know that you will like to know the truth about him and that even though he made a mistake you still value his friendship and to just not do it again.

maybe he lied to you because he wanted to make his life sound exciting...maybe he felt like he couldnt live up to a great friend like yourself..he mite have thought his life was boring and wanted to put a little spice in it. (we all do it)..but if he lied about his entire life..i dont think he is such a great friend.
