Stay away from chocolate and all those really fatty foods - stick to fruit and veg with some meat and fish! I think you do put on weight regardless, the fat is there to feed your baby when you produce milk!

Remember that eating for two is just and old wives tale. You actually only need an extra 200-300 calories a day to support your growing baby. These should be gained through healthy food, a couple of slices of toast, some fruit, yoghurt etc.
In the early stages of your pregnancy, before the baby starts pressing on your stomach, just try to eat 3 healthy meals a day. try to avoid snacking of you can, if you do snack, make it fruit or cereal.
Later on, when you can't stomach full meals, eat frequent small amounts of food. Again the rule is to just keep it healthy.
Remember that while you are trying to eat healthy food, you should not be dieting. This can be potentially harmful to both you and the baby. As a backup you could try taking a good multivitamin tablet designed for pregnancy. I've been taking Sanatogen Pro-Natal.
I understand your dilemma completely. I'm currently pregnant with my first child. Before I was pregnant I was 12.5 stone and was determined to try and keep my weight gain to a minimum so I looked into this quite a bit.
Hope this helps, and if all else fails, just remember it's better to make sure you and the baby are healthy. We can deal with a few extra pounds afterwards.
Good luck.

Just eat sensibly, don't panic if you gain what you think is too much, its better to eat well and get a healthy baby and have put on a little more weight than you expected than to have a small amount to lose afterwards but a baby who isn't a healthy weight. trust me i know. i was put on a very strict eating plan when pregnant by my consultant (diabetes, wheat intolerant, vegetarian) and as a result my daughter was born a lot lighter than they thought she would be and had the nerve to accuse me of having my dates wrong!!!

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/vhPA3
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

attempt making use of the e book referred to as eating wholesome in the time of being pregnant (i think of that's what its referred to as). Its written by an analogous woman who wrote what to assume once you're waiting for. a buddy of mine used it and it labored nicely for her. It has outstanding recipies, and exercies you're able to do that are secure for you and for toddler. basically make solid options once you're pregnant, and get accessible and walk. Its the main suitable exercising you're able to do! solid success, hun!
