Allowed??? As in you have the right to do it? NO... Not if you want to stay together for a long time...Trust and respect are more important than your jealous curiosity... If you are looking because you feel that he/she is unfaithful you just may overreact to an innocent entry or a wrong number....Thus destroying the trust that your spouse had in you...

Hmmm.....this is a trick question......if you do snoop in their cell phone, it is considered, well, snooping and possibly being controlling and stalking, but at the same time, it might just prove what you thought/knew all along--maybe they are cheating and you have the evidence you need to end the relationship/marriage---but at the same time, they might have half a brain and delete their call history-----but my advice here would be just to trust them....but in some cases, you do need separate passwords, call histories, and email accounts.....actually, on my voicemail and personal and work emails i have passwords that my fiance does not know because he is the snooping, jealous, accusing type, and everyone i talk to or who sends me email, i must be attracted to or sleeping with, and so i spare myself the grief and just don't hand out my passwords---i cant give out my work passwords anyway for security purposes, but still, he needs to just trust me for a change and i have no guilt in doing this..........but that is just me!

depends on the intentions....and the relationship they have together. a short duration relationship (6 months or less) this should be off limits. otherwise ask or get permission to look before you do.

a couple are two halves of a whole...there should be no secrets and if there are your relationship has not evolved enough.
