An internet friend is not really a friend, its more like a buddy. Someone you could just chat and play games with online. Would you trust this person with any personal things or secrets? Could you count on this person to be there when you need them? Unless you knew this person and was your friend in the beginning and now for some reason you could only communicate over the internet and/or phone then yes. Otherwise you would just have a internet pal.

It seems as if you are in your teens and you are either unsure abt internet friends or you are afraid.
When you chat on yahoo or msn you meet alot of people and after a time you become friends , never give personal information about you and your family and you will be save.
