The truth is not a weapon. It just is. Knowing what you are (and what the truth is) takes care of what you are not (and what things are not). Power? Well, they say that knowledge is power, so I suppose truth is power, also. Power to be true. Power to not let others control you. Power to remain confident and calm no matter what is going on around you.

Perhaps one could say that the bearer wields the Power of Knowledge (not necessarily wisdom, though).

I think the bearer might not always be so popular, so I'd not look at the truth along those lines.
