Is it so hard to say "his (or her) father", even if the parents are not together?

Should these women just keep their legs closed?

I find the term: "baby daddy" to be demeaning; and personally choose not to use it.....

Should these women just keep their legs closed?
It is best to wait until marriage before having sex and/or bringing a child into the world; but even marriage does not guarantee a traditional nuclear family.
The women/men who use this term have no respect for the father of the child as a man and definitely not as a father. They are rearing up children who will also lack respect for their father, and authority figures in the future.

Is it wrong? Yes.
Should they keep their legs together? Of course.
Sadly however, this term will never go away.
Because unbeknownst to most people, the phrase "baby daddy" was actually coined in 1991 by the greeting card industry. See, the bastards decided that they needed a new Hallmark Holiday that would fall between July 4 and September 4 (Labor Day). Now that they've successfully gotten this concept into the popular consciousness, their nefarious plan is coming to fruition. And starting in 2008, August 11th will forever be known as "International Baby Daddy Day".
