If the internet hadnt been invented someone would have realised the need to connect computers together and it would eventually evolve into....the internet....

To me, it was too much of a logical step to not happen. It would be like not inventing doors to keep the cold out

If the internet were never invented, then people would just put their data onto floppies, and dump all the floppies in a big truck, which would drive your data to wherever it needed to go. And then we wouldn't have to worry so much about tubes getting all clogged with commercial internets.

I can tell you this much....if there were no internet, The Post Office and other Shipping agencies would RULE THE WORLD.

OH and dont forget LONG DISTANCE PHONE COMPANIES

Email services have changed the world. You can contact anyone in an instant.

Hand Mail deliveries, instead of Email.
Libraries, instead of Google

before I had access to Internet I used BBS (dialup text based board where people could write messages and download files) same as you use forums, it was 10 years ago
