Well, since this is the third or forth (or more) questions you have asked in the truth area, you are either having a problem or doing some intellectual thinking (and I would say it is the latter). To answer your question--my opinion--yes and no. You can respect the person more sometime by my not telling the truth. If the truth is more damaging to the person, it might be best to say nothing.

The ultimate form of respect is to Love even if they are your enemies, but the truth is respect as well because by the truth you tell someone that even though by telling the truth you can get in trouble, youll still let them know.

yes, I hate it with a passion when someone lies or stretches the truth to me, it is so dis-respectful. There are times when a lie will be better than the truth, but then you have to keep lieing to cover for the 1st lie, so always tell the truth no matter what the outcome will be,

i dont think it is even about respecting others it is respecting yourself. if you lie all the time you are not proud of what you do, think, feel want, etc .if you tell the truth most of the time (bc no one can be honest ALL the time) you have self respect and u feel no need to lie about anything. except when a women asks u if she looks fats- then you LIE lol jk
