my husband and I are moving to his hometown because he has another son who lives over there, well he still communicates with damn near all his ex's, and i really dont feel comfortable moving over there, especially since his sons mother called him the night before we got married crying begging him not to do it.

Well, he obviously didn't listen. He married you. He wants to b close to his son, that is a reasonable want. As far as his exes, you kind of need to get over it, especially his son's mom. They have a child together, so there is a very good reason for them to communicate. The question shouldn't be what should you do. It should be do you really trust him? From what you've said so far. it doesn't look like there is a reason for you not to. He told you about the phone call she made to him before you got married. He wants to be closer to his son. I talk to a lot of my exes too, but it doesn't mean I want them back in any way. They're friends now. Some people can really keep exes as just friends.

He sounds like a man that you are going to have to be willing to share, otherwise he wouldn't have so many ex's. You have two choices....either move there with him or tell him you do not want to move (you should have an opinion on this decision). If he is still going to move whether you will go or not, then this is a husband that is only looking out for his needs. I really hope you do not have any children, as when you stated he keeps in touch with all ex's (more than 1 wife) I would be very concerned as to his outlook on fidelity. My question would be why did he move away from his son in the first place....how often does he see him & how old is he? Children should have their parents in their lives, which sometimes makes it hard on the new spouse. You just need to really feel he is moving there for the right reason, if not then you will have to decide what kind of life will make you happy.

If you are to move near his ex make it clear to both your husband and her that you are part of this, you will be part of his sons life as well so anything that has to be arranged has to involve you.

Explain to your husband that since his ex phoned him the night before your wedding you don't feel comfortable about moving so close to her but that you won't stop him seeing his son, you need to tell him exactly how you feel...at the end of the day, you are his wife, he married you even though his ex begged him not too, that has to say something about where his heart lies.

Trust will only make a relationship smooth. If he wants you both to move closer to his son then that's great. He may have ties to his ex because of there son but your his wife show your man you trust him and make the move for the son. Children need both parents in there lives. He did get married to you even though she called him the night before right. He never would of married you If he wanted to be with her.

does he know how you feel? does he do anything to make you feel like you can't trust him? did he or did he not marry you even after he's sons mother called and asked him not to , he still married you . unless there is more and your not saying or your just a little unsure of the move. and if it's the other woman then why worry about his old town it could be happening right in the town your in. learn to trust if not it will pull you apart get a hold of yourself and feelings before you put him in a position to choose so please talk to him and let him no how you feel , if not get a grip and stop the worrying until you have reason to lol

This is a difficult question to answer. In a situation like this you really have to have the facts right before you make this kind of move. Talk to your husband and tell him how you feel. The thing is, its a catch 22. His son is out there and that is exceptional. However, the reality of it is," conflicting situations". It's bound to happen. Talk to your husband and make him feel uncomfortable about this situation. It really sounds disastrous. If your instinctual, then you'll know whats coming...

If it's his hometown then he will be in touch with them --I think you have a right to ask for no more contact with ex-girlfriends but not with the mother of the son. That will be a lifetime relationship.

I'd call Dr. Laura.

I would sit him down and tell him how you feel. He may not realize how you feel. Make a deal with him. Move a town or two away from his son. He can still visit him on a regular basis.

WELL, you didn't tell THAT part before you told the part about him not wanting you to come to the airport.

He is probably cheating. Hate to tell you that, but someone else is probably gonna meet him at the airport. And having you there, would spoil that moment. I'm only saying this based on all of the information given.

My motto........HOPE for the best, EXPECT the worst.

Sorry for you. =(

OOHHH! that's a hard one. Are you and he still close.Very intimate? Do you feel that he loves you without any doubts, fears or, questions If so I wouldn't make too much of it but I would pay close attention to how he acts after you move. If you are going. My best advice give it to GOD!
