Yes!!! I can't watch the show because of that! I hate how he is sooo friendly and compassionate with his patients but it distant with his family. I don't know what it is either, but he really comes across bizarro.

Well...I don't know if you saw the same show where he was going for his black belt finally. He had to make a little speech as to why he deserved a black belt, and he said that his father verbally abused him a lot with telling him he was lazy and he'd never amount to anything. He didn't say anything about physical abuse. This would give him the overall persona of having a bad self-esteem.
I also think the creepiness comes in the way he dresses.

Haha.. he's not so much creepy, as he is strange. He's just too friendly, and too involved with his stupid fighting classes. I feel bad for his wife sometimes, but you also have to think that she sits home all day while he goes out and works, I'd probably feel like I had the right to be strange, and take odd classes too!

No, he does certainly have his own personal style with the wacky clothes, but I don't think he's creepy. His friendliness with his patients is definitely because it gets the job and makes him the money. He's good at his job. I always find that impressive!

did you watch the episode where he went to Mexico and helped underprivileged kids? It obviously touched him, as well as his wife, when he was telling her about it . I felt sorry for him about the bigger mortgage and longer work hours... i hope the filthy rich can see that some things are more important than money...I wouldn't trade my life for his for all the money in the world
yeah, he dresses kinda pervy for a professional whos looking at your private parts! and he talks to his patients like they are the hottest women in Cali....all in the name of money

Yes, indeed, but I thought it was related to watching too many horror movies as a child.

He almost seems too touchy feely with his patients. It's obvious that he enjoys staring at them when they're undressed. Yuck!! I'm getting grossed out just thinking about it!!

umm...used to but not anymore. i just seen an episode where he went to mexico and did some surgeries for kids, and he was crying and you could tell he felt so bad for them and was so happy to help them. he just has such a different kind of personality that people aren't used to. i love him.
