In an article in my local paper on Sunday, they noted that about 25% of Republican voters are evangelical Christian. That does leave out highly religious folks of other denominations, but it's not a bad baseline.

I am a con, and I don't go to church. If you mean those of us who believe there is a Jesus, and choose to follow the morals set forth in the bible, than probably a high percent. The main reason I am a con. is because I don't want to give my hard earned dollars to other people, they have just as much opportunity to make it in this country as I did.

well if you look at the scriptures you will find that a rich man does not enter the kingdom of heaven .SO democrat or republican the rich do not go to heaven .
They have seperated themselves from the people and are better then the rest of us and entitled to much more .If you have a maid bringing you dinner and someone goes to bed hungry you have not done as God commanded and therefore do not go to heaven .

They all claim to be until it comes to walking their talk, one cannot be a politition and be religious, or sincere for that matter. they are the pond scum of the earth

I would guess about 2%. Then I would say about 75% would call themselves higly religious but are confused and what they really mean is that they are bloodthirsty sociopaths.
